Cameron Park is located in El Dorado County, California. The population was 14,549 at the 2000 census. Cameron Park is a relatively new community situated in the Northern California Gold Country of the Sierra Nevada foothills, approximately 30 miles east of Sacramento and 70 miles west of South Lake Tahoe.
